I'm a photojournalist, writer, and contributor to
multiple international photo agencies, including Polaris Images and Sipa USA. I previously worked as a reporter and photographer for Business Insider and an overnight crime reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times. I'm currently based in Paris, working on a photojournalism certificate at Spéos and Polka Magazine.
I've reported from the Pine Ridge and Standing Rock Reservations, the US-Mexico border, the front lines of Ukraine, Tropical Storm Florence, homicides and protests in Chicago and New York City, and more. My work has been published in AJ+, The Daily Beast, Sports Illustrated, The Capital Times, Le Parisien, Les Echos, reports by the Center for Civilians in Conflict, and others. I also dabble in portrait and event photography. I hold a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism.
Random facts: I played college rugby and write historical fiction about the French Revolution.
